Etsy is wonderful! Their website is put together so well. Everything I have purchased from Etsy (from numerous sellers) has been top-notch quality, friendly salesmanship, and very creative/cute. I bought most of my christmas presents on Etsy, as its hard sometimes to find unique gifts. The thing about Etsy is, though, you have to constantly upload new items for different people to see or you won't sell much! I had a lot of people tag me as a 'favorite' wihtin the first few days of my 'store opening' but never any sales and since I haven't uploaded anything within two months...nothing. When you upload something, there is a section on the main page that updates everything 'recently uploaded' every 15 seconds. Once you sell one item, though, it seems that they all quickly follow! It's just getting that inital sale. I hope this helps and good luck!
